End User License Agreement
Arca LLC · arcaportfolio.com · Effective September 23, 2026
This agreement covers the Arca software itself — the web app at arcaportfolio.com and the version you can install to a phone's home screen or a computer's dock. Your subscription, your data and how the service is run are covered by the Terms of Service, which this agreement is part of. Where the two conflict, the Terms of Service win.
1. License
While you have an active Arca account, Arca LLC ("Arca") grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use the Arca software (the "Software") — including any update we deliver — to access and use the Service for your own business or your workspace's business, in line with the Terms of Service and this agreement.
2. Installing the app
You may add Arca to the home screen of your phones or install it on your computers, on as many devices as you personally use. The installed app is the same Software delivered through your browser; it updates itself when you open it, and it does not work without your account.
3. Restrictions
Except where the law expressly allows it regardless of this restriction, you may not:
- copy, modify, translate or create derivative works of the Software;
- reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it, or try to discover its source code, other than code we publish openly (section 5);
- rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense, or otherwise make it available to anyone outside your workspace;
- remove or alter any proprietary notice, label or mark;
- use it to build a competing product, or to copy its features, design or content;
- get around any technical limit, access control or security measure in it.
4. Ownership
The Software is licensed, not sold. Arca and its licensors keep all rights, title and interest in it, including all intellectual property rights, the Arca name and marks, and the design of the Service. Any rights not expressly granted here are reserved. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.
5. Open-source components
The Software includes open-source components, each licensed under its own terms, which govern your use of that component and prevail over this agreement for it. Among them:
- thinking-orbs by Jakub Antalik — MIT License.
- supabase-js by Supabase — MIT License.
- jsPDF by James Hall and contributors — MIT License.
Each component's copyright notice and license text ships with it, and we will send copies on request.
6. Updates and support
We update the Software regularly and may do so automatically. Some updates change or remove features; the Terms of Service describe what we do when something material you are paying for goes away. Support is by email at the address below.
7. Term and termination
This license lasts as long as you have an Arca account. It ends automatically if your access to the Service ends, or if you break this agreement and do not fix it within 15 days of our notice. When it ends, you must stop using the Software and remove it from your devices. Sections 3, 4, 8, 9 and 11 survive.
8. No warranty
The Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, as described in section 11 of the Terms of Service.
9. Limitation of liability
Arca's liability in connection with the Software is limited as set out in section 12 of the Terms of Service.
10. Export and use restrictions
You may not use or export the Software in breach of United States export control or sanctions laws, or from a country or by a person those laws prohibit.
11. General
This agreement is governed by the same law and courts as the Terms of Service (section 15 there). We may update it in the same way we update the Terms of Service (section 14 there).
